How to Apply

Application Guidelines

We look forward to serving you. Every property we manage is one that we own. Please note that the requirements listed below are guidelines. Please refer all questions on a specific property to the Manager at that specific property, or otherwise you can contact our office at (562) 531-9016 or by e-mail to

Income Level

  • You should have Gross Income of at least 2.5 times the monthly rent amount
  • All applicants over 18 may combine income
  • Submitting Your Application
  • All applicants over 18 must submit separate applications
  • If you are self-employed we will need tax returns for the last two years

Credit History

To determine satisfactory credit worthiness we run a report through a credit reporting agency. (Low move in specials may be adjusted based on credit)

Rental History

Your previous residencies must be free of evictions, judgments, and unpaid rents.


The number of occupants is limited to 2 persons per bedroom plus 1 additional person. All occupants, 18 years of age and over must submit an application. Please Note: A $20 application fee is charged for each adult over 18 years of age.

Fair Housing

It is unlawful and a violation of company policy to discriminate against any person based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or familial status, or to refuse to show, rent, negotiate, or otherwise make unavailable any rental unit. All PREM employees are trained to provide fair and equal treatment for all people, whether or not they are included in a protected class.

Viewing a Property

It's as Easy as 1-2-3!

Viewing a "PREM" property is a simple and easy process. Just follow these steps:

  1. Review our List of Properties for Rent "Our Featured Properties"
  2. Drive by the Properties which meet your criteria or call and ask the Manager for more information. Inspect the outside, if the Manager is not available, please call the Manager for an appointment.
  3. To see inside one of our properties, please call the number of the Manager associated with the property you are looking at to obtain more information and to schedule an appointment to view the property's interior. We have flexible scheduling and are almost always able to accommodate your desired showing time.

Application Process

Thank you for your interest in a "PREM Quality Apartment Home". The application process is quite simple and quick. The review and approval process usually takes 24 hours. You will be notified directly whether or not your application is approved. Please make sure that all information on the application is completed IN FULL. If there is a section or line that does not apply to you, please indicate by printing "N/A".

Please remember that prior to signing a lease you will be required to deliver in person, the following items for each applicant:

  1. Copy of a valid driver's license or state issued ID card.
  2. Copy of Social Security Card
  3. Proof of income -- 2 recent pay stubs, S.S.I./Disability/AFDC statement

Once You Are Approved

You will be notified of the total amount required to move in: 1st month's rent and deposit must be made payable as a money order or cashier's check. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED FOR MOVE IN OR DEPOSIT. Make checks payable to "PREM"
